Hello and welcome, I’m Cys Bronner, the Constant Social Media Networker and ActionSteps4Success Founder.

Have you ever wondered, “what’s all this fuss about having a personal brand?”

In the realm of open networking, your personal brand is your passport, it sets you apart from others.

It’s not just about who you know, but who knows you. More importantly, what they know you for.

Developing a strong personal brand ensures that when people think of your industry or expertise, they think of you. How do you go about crafting this brand that precedes you in networking circles?

Start by identifying your “SSP”, your unique strengths, skills, and passions.

What sets you apart from others in your field? Are you particularly adept at problem-solving, an industry innovator, or a trendsetter?

Once you’ve pinpointed these things, make them central to your online presence and more; like the other avenues professionally associated with you.

You’ve probably created a LinkedIn profile by now, if not, it’s a great action step.  Make sure that it showcases your skills. Write blog posts or articles discussing topics related to your niche, engage in conversations on platforms relevant to your industry.

This book not only provides practical advice on building your personal brand but also shares stories of individuals who have successfully crafted and leveraged their personal brands.

Assignment: Your task today is to update your LinkedIn profile.

Focus on highlighting your unique skills and achievements. Don’t just list job responsibilities; share stories that demonstrate your impact.

Additionally, make a commitment to post at least one valuable piece of content on LinkedIn related to your industry in the next week. It could be a brief commentary on a recent industry development, a useful tip, or an insightful observation. Remember, consistency is key.

By strengthening your personal brand online, you’ll enhance your visibility and credibility in the vast landscape of open networking.
